Healthy Coleslaw recipe

There are times where we are just to busy too make anything from scratch. Ordering out is not very healthy either. At times like this, we like to have pre-cut veggies or pre-made salads on hand . This way we can whip up a salad in minutes. Most grocery store chains carry organic pre-made salads. They do sometimes contain unhealthy dressings or add on’s. We normally do not use those. We like to create a quick dressing and add our own TLC to the salad. This popular and easy to make healthy coleslaw recipe uses a bag of organic broccoli slaw and we added our own spin.

Here is a picture of the pre-made salad we used for this recipe but you can choose any one that you like.

This is a great idea – one I never thought of, actually. My hubby especially likes coleslaw and I’ve tried buying all the ingredients separately, but even one head of cabbage is too much for just two of us, and usually goes to waste. I’m going to look into this, and I’ve already saved the recipe. Thanks! 🙂

When it comes to salads, I tend to go for the pre-cut for ease of use. Then I don’t have to worry about it and things that make life easier are awesome. I haven’t had coleslaw in ages! It sounds so good.

Honestly, you can not beat a good coleslaw especially a home made one at that. Great also to know what goes in it, shop bought is not always best.
