There are times where we are just to busy too make anything from scratch. Ordering out is not very healthy either. At times like this, we like to have pre-cut veggies or pre-made salads on hand . This way we can whip up a salad in minutes. Most grocery store chains carry organic pre-made salads. They do sometimes contain unhealthy dressings or add on’s. We normally do not use those. We like to create a quick dressing and add our own TLC to the salad. This popular and easy to make healthy coleslaw recipe uses a bag of organic broccoli slaw and we added our own spin.

BEST TASTING EASY HEALTHY COLESLAW RECIPE
Quick Healthy and Easy to Make coleslaw recipe using pre-made slaw kit.
- 1/2 cup 2% low fat cottage cheese low
- 1/2 cup fat free Greek yogurt
- 2 tbs spicy mustard
- 1 each green onion diced
- 1 each Roma tomato cubed
- 1 each mozzarella cheese stick part skim shredded
- 1 tbsp pink Himalayan salt optional
- 1 bag organic broccoli slaw - pre-cut
Using a bullet blender mix the cottage cheese, yogurt, salt and mustard.
In a bowl add veggies and transfer ingredients from blender.
Mix all of the ingredients with a spoon till nice and creamy.
Refrigerate for 1 hr.
This easy to make coleslaw can be used as a side dish with your choice of protein. It can also be used as the main dish due to its high protein content. Also can be made during meal prep day. You can make dressing ahead of time and just added it when ready to eat. We love making it large batches for the week. It is so easy and quick to make!
