How to make anti-inflammatory golden milk.

This turmeric tea has now become part of our nightly rituals. It is so easy to make and has so many benefits. It nourishes your mind, body and soul. Golden milk contains anti-oxidants and anti-inflammatory goodness. It also lowers your blood sugar levels, helps your liver to detoxify, boosts your immune system and eases your digestive system – all of which help you sleep better.

There are many variations of making golden millk, here is the one that I like best:
INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 teaspoon organic ground tumeric
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoon sweetner of choice, I used stevia.
- Dash of fresh ground pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon of coconut oil
- 2 cups of unsweetened cashew milk
INSTRUCTIONS
Pour the milk into two cups and sprinkle the cinnamon.
Notes:
First time I tried the recipe, I used the microwave to warm the milk, do not take this short cut as it does not taste the same. Also some people do not like the taste of pepper, you can omit this but keep in mind pepper helps with the absorption of turmeric. Coconut oil can also be omitted.
